Supporting membership is a way for those keen to make a special
commitment.
Members are treated to an array of highly prominent events, such as the annual Jacob Burckhardt prize award ceremony, which includes a lecture and accompanying evening programme and takes place in Florence. Regular lectures on Italian art history by well-known speakers and general meetings are held in Munich. In addition, the Florentine scholarship holders present the results of their research there on a result basis. Every two years the Friends and the KHI organize fpr the members a journey with guided tours.
Every year, all members receive free of charge the annual report
of the Institute of Art History in Florence and the Mitteilungen
des Kunsthistorischen Instituts in Florenz, a journal published
by the Institute in several issues per year. |
