Welcome to the Friends of the Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florenz (Max-Planck-Institut) – the Institute of Art History in Florence (Max Planck Institute)
Florence was the most important European centre for the arts, sciences and humanities in the early Renaissance; the Friends has taken on the task of supporting the Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florenz (Max-Planck-Institut) – Institute of Art History in Florence (Max Planck Institute). The Institute provides all that is required for research on the art and culture of the city of Florence and brings its work to the public through its own publications and academic events.
